My work sits at the intersection of people and the environment, unpacking the beautifully messy, bi‑directional relationship between us—how we shape nature, and how nature shapes us in return. I have a PhD in Environmental Psychology and am a Senior Lecturer in Environmental Science.

From deep‑diving into fear of sharks, to exploring the wellbeing benefits of the ocean, to using behavioural science to help sell conservation, I always bring the human element into environmental science.

Alongside my research, I’m passionate about science communication. With my niche research focus, I am passionate about showing that science is more than lab coats and microscopes. It’s creative, relatable, and very much part of everyday life.
